General Formulations GF 226HTR WallMark™
Strong Adhesion with Clean Removability
About General Formulations GF 226HTR WallMark™
A 6.0 mil matte white semi-rigid vinyl with a unique high-tack removable (HTR) adhesive. Designed to stick aggressively to most surfaces while allowing clean removal for up to one year, GF 226HTR is ideal for wall murals, decals, window graphics, and retail branding. The pressure-sensitive HTR adhesive ensures strong bonding on low-energy surfaces like glass, tile, OEM painted metal, and sealed concrete, while its forgiving nature prevents adhesive transfer when repositioning. The 90# layflat liner allows for smooth processing and precision printing with solvent, latex, and UV curable inks.
Ideal for:
- Wall murals, decals & interior graphics
- Retail storefront & window branding
- Temporary promotional signage
- Low-energy surfaces like OEM painted metal, glass, tile, and sealed concrete

Can GF 226HTR be used on other surfaces?
Yes! Unlike standard removable adhesives, GF 226HTR adheres aggressively to:
Smooth painted walls (flat, semi-gloss, gloss finishes)
Glass, tile, OEM painted metal, and sealed concrete
Low surface energy substrates
Always test on the intended surface before installation to ensure proper adhesion.
Can I print edge-to-edge with GF 226HTR?
Yes! Unlike traditional GF 226, GF 226HTR allows full-bleed printing with minimal shrinkage, eliminating the need for an unprinted border.
When paneling large graphics, should I use overlaps or butt seams?
Both methods work!
Butt seams are preferred for a seamless look with minimal shrinkage in interior applications.
Minimal overlap (½” to 1”) is recommended for exterior or textured wall applications. The high-tack adhesive bonds well even when overlapped.
