Is GF 209AE MetroMark® Transit Approved?
Yes! MetroMark® is an approved and specified material for multiple transit-related applications, including bus ads, subway posters, and layered poster graphics.
Can GF 209AE be used as a wrap film?
It is conformable for simple curves but not intended for full vehicle wraps. The adhesive is strong enough to hold graphics in place, yet removable for temporary applications.
Can GF 209AE be layered over existing graphics?
Yes. MetroMark®’s opaque construction allows it to be layered over existing graphics. However, vinyl adhesives can bond with other vinyl materials, which may affect removability.
Should MetroMark® be laminated?
Lamination is optional. If the graphics will be exposed to abrasion, cleaning detergents, or heavy wear, we recommend using a GF 100 series overlaminate for added protection.
